This gallery features a focused study of light and form in the Bisti Wilderness of New Mexico. Known for its surreal hoodoos and eroded desert landscape, this body of work moves away from the more commonly photographed locations and instead explores overlooked formations and quieter compositions within the terrain.

The images are built around soft, directional light—primarily captured during early morning and late evening—when subtle shadows and highlights reveal shape, depth, and structure across the landscape.

This project reflects a slower, more deliberate approach to photographing the desert. While still driven by changing light, the emphasis shifted toward patience, composition, and isolating natural design within the chaos of the environment.

The result is a collection centered on minimalism, texture, and the interaction between light and land in the Bisti Wilderness.
